Dilapidations and Contract Administration

Unit H5, Premier Way, Elland

Client: Citivale

GV were instructed to act for Citivale to prepare and issue a terminal Schedule of Dilapidations for Unit H5, Lowfields Business Park, Premier Way, Elland. GV were instructed to undertake the dilapidation negotiation.  Following the issue of the Schedule, the former tenant undertook part of the repairs which were signed off by GV. A cash settlement was agreed for the remaining items of disrepair with the outgoing tenant. This allowed the Landlord to undertake tenant specific works for the new tenant.

GV’s role included specification writing and tendering, Principal Designer and Contract Administration.

During the works, a lease was agreed with a new tenant with minimal void for the landlord.
