Client: Npower
GV were appointed by Npower, who were the tenant of Tees House, a 30,248 sq ft office building, to act on their behalf to advise on the dilapidations claim served on them by the landlord. Although the property was in reasonable repair, GV negotiated a low settlement using Section 18 (1) to cap the claim. This limited Npower’s financial exposure during the exit of the premises.
