Gent Visick had provided market advice to Cordea Savills when they acquired this property so when they were approached by their tenant, who had been marketing the site for some time, seeking to surrender, they again sought our advice.
The compromise was a joint marketing exercise whereby if a suitable occupier were found, a surrender of the existing lease would be considered. Gent Visick introduced PriceCheck Toiletries who subsequently entered into a sub-lease for the residue of the original term.
