•• Gent Visick supports Jane’s Appeal

A go-karting event, organized by Gent Visick, has raised over £800 for local charity Jane’s Appeal.

The charity was set up by the late Jane Tomlinson CBE, and continues to raise funds for children’s and cancer charities.

The event, held at Pole Position Indoor Karting in Leeds, saw teams of four take part in a relay style competition to win the ‘Gent Visick Karting Cup’. The closely fought race was eventually won by a team from Gleeds property.

Nick Prescott (pictured) who organized the event said “We are delighted that an event which was great fun to take part in could also raise money to support this worthwhile cause, and wish the charity every success with future fundraising.”

Mike Tomlinson, Jane’s Appeal Trustee commented “What a great initiative by the team from Gent Visick to stage a Go Karting competition. It is great to hear that you all had such a good time and congratulations to the winners Gleeds Property. Thank you to everyone who supported the event and Jane’s Appeal. You can be reassured that the funds raised will be put to very good use.”
