Andrew
Gent
Since commencing his career at the Leeds office
of Bernard Thorpe & Partners in 1984 Andrew
has been involved in the acquisition, sale and letting
of Industrial/Distribution property throughout the
Yorkshire region. Andrew became an Associate Director
of DTZ Debenham Tie Leung in 1996 and was responsible
for the Industrial Agency Team in the Yorkshire
region before leaving to set up Gent Visick in 2003.

Rupert
Visick BSc MRICS
Rupert has been involved in all aspects of Industrial
property since starting his career in the industrial
agency team of Weatherall Green & Smith in 1987.
Rupert was approached by Jones Lang Wootton to set
up and run the industrial agency team in their new
Leeds office, becoming a National Director in 1999
with National and European responsibility for Industrial
Corporate Occupiers.

Matthew
Hopkins BA (Hons) PGDipSurv MRICS
Matthew graduated with a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance from Manchester University but decided on a career in Property. Taking on a role as a non-cognate surveyor at Sanderson Weatherall's Leeds office, Matthew established himself within the Agency team whilst studying Surveying at The University of Reading. Matthew joined Gent Visick in 2006 and has helped establish our investment consultancy, asset management and advisory offering. In 2009 Matthew joined Andrew and Rupert as a Partner of the firm.

Nick
Prescott BSc (Hons) MRICS
Upon completion of a successful placement year within
Industrial Agency at Sanderson Weatherall's Newcastle
Office,
Nick graduated with 2.1 (Hons) in Estate Management
from Northumbria University in 2006. Determined
to specialise in Industrial/Distribution Property,
Nick joined Gent Visick in January 2007 and focused
on the transaction market. He became a member of
the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in
October 2007 and was promoted to Associate Partner in June 2010.

Gidon Amar BSc (Hons)
Gidon graduated from Nottingham Trent University in July 2010 with a 2.1 in Real Estate Management. Having gained experience at Innes England in Nottingham, he joined Gent Visick in September 2010 as a Graduate Surveyor. Gidon currently works alongside Andrew Gent and Nick Prescott specializing in the transaction market as well as assisting Matthew Hopkins in investments.

Kathryn Hodgson BSc (Hons)
Kathryn graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2001 with a Sports Management degree and worked in the leisure industry for 2 years before persuing a career with Friends Provident as a Personal Assistant. She joined Gent Visick in January 2011 to take responsibility for marketing and managing the office.
