•• Company Profile

Gent Visick holds a unique position as Yorkshire’s only specialist industrial property agency.

Throughout its steady expansion over the last five years, Gent Visick has retained the hands-on, individual approach of a niche player, while concluding significant transactions across the region.

In 2004, Gent Visick was responsible for the largest letting in Leeds, a 350,000 sq ft warehouse at Radial Park.

In 2005 / 2006, Gent Visick transacted more than 2 million sq ft per annum, achieving major success in securing a forward funding commitment for Redhouse Projects’ new distribution unit, Hurricane, at Redhouse Interchange Doncaster.

Continued success throughout 2007 led to the team being nominated for a Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Award, and winning the Yorkshire Variety Club Industrial Agency Team of the Year Award.

Recent major deals secured by Gent Visick have included the sale of the 450,000 sq ft ‘Opus Maximus’ building in Scunthorpe to Polish can manufacturer Canpack SA, and the acquisition of new premises on behalf of local engineering firm Winder Power.

Among the many current projects in which Gent Visick is involved is the letting of the brand new Capitol Park development at Thorne, pointing once more to Gent Visick’s continuing strength as a leader in the region’s industrial property market.

•• Company Background

Gent Visick was formed in October 2003 by two of the region’s leading industrial property professionals. Andrew Gent, formerly Associate Director at DTZ Debenham Tie Leung and Rupert Visick, formerly National Director of Industrial at Jones Lang LaSalle in Leeds, with a remit to offer the best industrial agency advice available locally. With over 40 years of experience between them, the duo has been behind some of the region’s largest industrial property deals in recent years.

Matthew Hopkins joined the team in 2006, specialising in Investment Agency and Development, and the firm expanded again in early 2007 with the appointment of Nick Prescott to focus on the transaction market.

Having moved to new offices near Park Square in Leeds in August 2007, Gent Visick continues to grow and develop its reputation for fist class industrial property solutions.
